Mandelbrot set using the “stalk” orbit trap.
In honor of Benoit Mandelbrot, who recently passed away, I decided to revisit the Mandelbrot set for some new images. In the process, I came upon this image which seemed to be quite in the spirit of the upcoming Halloween festivities. I gave it the obvious name “Cobwebs,” with a subtitle “Benoit 3” since it was the third in the sequence of images I explored with the memory of Benoit Mandelbrot in mind.
